This is a very soft 5x7 checkered rug. It is not padded or considered high pile rug but has a velvet texture and is very nice to walk on. I would recommend using a pad under it if you want more cushion under your feet. This will look really nice in a teenagers room or even a baby nursery. The color is a very nice muted beige to khaki color.It is machine washable but is too large for my washer so I will just use my steam cleaner. It provides instructions on different ways to clean it. It does have a non slip backing and I will also add some non slip pads on the corners just to be more safe for my disabled son to walk on it.This is a great rug, great size, and very nice quality. I highly recommend this rug
This 5 x 7 checkered rug is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something that is both stain resistant and machine washable for the floor inside our side entrance. It is a high traffic area for both humans and pets. I love the neutral nature of this rug. It really could go anywhere in our house. It’s also very soft and low pile.When it arrived, it was folded up in a box and I’m finding that the wrinkles are taking some time to come out. I trust they’ll work themselves out sooner or later.

So far I like everything about this rug. The material is soft, the fold creases come out after a couple days, washes nicely and looks good. I have it on carpet so it doesn't stay out unless I have something holding it down. Probably would do a little better on tile or wood.
