I love changing my duvet covers every three months, and I prefer covers that have dual designs, so I have even more options. This red/white plaid with reindeer/snowflakes will work Dec-Feb! I bought King sized and it fits my comforter perfectly. The red color is Christmas red, not burgundy, which is what I wanted. The 8 duvet ties are plenty long, and made of canvas, so they're not slippery and will hold up well in the wash. The fabric is 100% polyester and has a slick texture. I would have preferred a thicker, almost flannel feel for winter, but at least dog hair doesn't stick to it (My dog has white hair and it is not visible even on the red side of this comforter.) The reason I like dual covers, is to get the layered look of two fabrics at the same time. What I didn't consider, was in order to fold over at the head of the bed and have the reindeer facing the correct way, it would mean the button closure would have be at the head of the bed. So I sometimes feel the buttons while sleeping. I would have preferred a hidden zipper or for the buttons/zipper to be on the other end. But this is personal preference. For those who place it solely with the white/reindeer side up, the buttons will be at the foot of the bed where they belong. The tag says not to tumble dry, but I threw it in the dryer with a wet towel on "steam freshen" and there was no damage and it took out the wrinkles from packaging. I do recommend.

So adorable for my guest room! I love the delicate print with the red deer and the snow flakes and gold wind wisps throughout. The red plaid on the reverse side is a nice contrast when folded over. The fabric is silky soft. I worried that when washing it that the red plaid would bleed into the white side and turn it pink but that did not happen; I washed it on cold, dried it on low and the colors remained every bit as vibrant as when I took it out of the package. It was also so much more affordable than some of the options I was originally looking at on Pottery Barn for inspiration. I’m so happy I made this purchase!

I bought this duvet for my guest bedroom. It is so nice-love the red and white and it was easy to find matching sheets and accessories.

wasnt expecting for it to require an insert but it’s okay because i had one 😅 anyway the design is adorable and i always use it for christmas time, gets me in the holiday spirit. just make sure to get a duvet insert before buying!!!

I give it 5 stars because it is cute, sorta thin, however I thought it was a comforter and so I'm returning. My mistake. But if you are looking for just a cover, you'll probably like it. Very wrinkled though.
