This awning worked really well for the space beside our house. We installed it above the area where we park our bike, and it gives nice coverage from sun and light rain without making the space feel dark. The polycarbonate panel still lets light through, and the brackets feel solid once mounted properly. It also looks clean against the wall and makes the area much more useful.
