It came with directions for the temperature but would have loved for it to have specific directions. I had to just figure it out. I guess based on the waffle batter I made I had to adjust the temp. Finally got it to where I liked it. I also expected it to turn like at the hotels but that’s not that important to me.
Even heat, waffles come out perfect. No complaints. I'm impressed. Worlds better than the many cheap and not so cheap waffle makers I have bought through the years from Target, etc. Commonly available waffle makers seem like junk to me now, in comparison to this one.
This thing is built like a tank! The stainless steel exterior feels really solid and high-quality, not cheap or flimsy like some others I've had. It feels like it could handle being in a busy restaurant kitchen, so I know it'll last forever in my home. Worth every penny for the durability alone.
The handle stays cool to the touch which is great when my kids want to help make breakfast. The lights let me know when it's preheated and ready to go, so no guessing games. It's very straightforward – just plug it in, set the temp, and you're making waffles in minutes.
