This robot is really saving me time and energy. Well worth the investment. It is cleaning up the pool bottom without giving up. The only thing is that when we had a red algae bloom it filled so fast that I had to stop using it. It wasn't on for 5 minutes before the screen was clogged and the base was filled. So, I highly suggest you don't use it for that. If you have a red algae bloom, use a leaf skimmer to scoop out the worst, shock and run with just a pleated filter not a sand or filter ball filter. Once it is clear add back in your regular sand/filter ball filter. Red algae can kill equipment fast.Since then, we have been running this robot and find that it is doing a great job at doing the daily/weekly maintenance. I've not had to pull out the old hose and vacuum myself or scrub the bottom with a broom yet in the seven weeks the pool has been open. This is big news for us.
