I have a Yorkie who gets skittish in the car but can’t stand to be left behind. So after being scratched and pawed more than I can count; I wanted something elegant and looks natural in the car. I have had a few dog seats but were not scratch resistant or easily cleaned.The seat measures roughly 18”x16”x16”. It’s constructed from a thick, high composite waterproof PU leather. Seeing how it is designed for 30 pounds and under it’s very bite resistant with dogs that are in that weight and size category. Has a tether strap to keep your pup secure and side pockets for storage ( something like a smaller dog bowl or leash). The front also comes down for easily putting them in or pulling them out. Easily folds back up for structural security.The good it’s easy to clean, so a simple walk or a trip to the park not only is it safe and easy but the aftermath of coming home isn’t troublesome or cumbersome in clean up department . The extra dog seat also adds protection to your actual car seat. A con because it’s made out of sturdy material it doesn’t fold up or collapse ( think of it like a traveling dog bed). The color and materials both attract heat and hold it. So I would recommend covering it with a baby blanket or small cover when not in use. In my experience the trip to the vet is much safer for both of us, my Yorkie always knows when we were nearing the vets and is at her most nervous state.
