There was a bit of smell and steam on the first use, but it works as-is and like the description says! I haven’t had any issues with smoking nor chemical smells after the first use. I’m still really cautious about it though. It’s a little heavy, but it wasn’t back-breaking to get it out of the box and up onto my counter. The first time I cooked pizza it took a little longer, but every time after that has been a 10-15 minute cook time. It’s super easy to set up and use and it seems like a fair price to pay. I haven’t had any issues with burning the pizza either!
