I’ve been using this heating pad for my back pain, and it helps a lot. The heat feels deep and soothing, and I like that it has 6 heat settings and 3 timer options. The large size is good for covering a lot of areas like my back or stomach. However, it’s a bit bulky, so it’s not as easy to travel with. Also, while it's easy to clean, I wish it felt softer. Overall, it’s a good product for pain relief.

I am reviewing this Far Infrared and Natural Jade Tourmaline Heating Pad. There are 6 heat levels to choose from and 3 timer options. This also has an Auto 2 hour Shut Off timer in case I fall asleep. This is a good size pad at 32"X21" and feels thick and padded on one side and has 50 smooth jade tourmaline buttons on the other side that radiate heat. It has a good weight to it that was very comfortable on my legs and back. The material felt like good quality that will last. The control was easy to use and the 9 foot cord was long enough to sit on the couch and use a nearby plugin. This is my new favorite heating pad. It is so warm and comfortable and big enough to cover a lot of surface area.

Great heating pad! This has helped with chronic pain. It's also just cozy to put on my lap when I'm on the couch watching TV (like a heated blanket, kinda). I appreciate the built-in safety features, most notably the auto-turn off function. You can rest easy knowing that this isn't going to stay on indefinitely and become a fire hazard if you forget to turn it off. Quite frankly, I wish its max temp was a little hotter, but this is also probably a safety decision (too hot and it could be a fire hazard or even burn hazard). Overall, I'm pleased with this heating pad!

Exactly as advertised. I really like the range of heat options. It is comfortable to use, with a nice weight to it. I like the timer because it does make me sleepy when I use! Definitely the best heating pad I have ever owned.

This heating pad is unlike any other that I've had previously. It has jade and tourmaline stones to help conduct the heat, and they also provide some weight which adds to the soothing nature of the pad. The auto shut off feature is a must in case I fall asleep while using it. In addition to utilizing this product for aches and pains, I also use it to warm up on these cold January evenings. A warm cup of tea, my recliner, this generously sized heating pad, and a good book make for a lovely evening. If you're looking for a great heating pad, get this one!

It's so easy to fall asleep under this heating pad.Heat is perfectly distributed and the weights keep in pushing down on your sore neck and shoulders or wherever else you place it.Much better than the regular heating pads. I think it's because of the stones inside of it, it's not floppy, it has a good amount of stiffness to it and can be drapped over my neck and shoulders while I'm sitting.Auto shut off is a nice feature tooLove this heating pad.

This heating pad is large, so I figured I could spread it out on the bed or sofa and lay on it to ease my aching back and neck. Unfortunately, the heating area with the stones, only cover the center of the pad, leaving a wide border without heat. This makes it tricky to get to the areas I need treated, and a I have to take turns between my back and readjusting it to my neck. It has multiple heat settings and a timer, but I don’t feel that it gets hot enough to relieve my severe back pains. I do find it comforting on my abdomen, as the mild heat soothes and relieves the cramps. It’s worth a try and may help to soothe some of your aches especially since it has the natural stone effect.

First, I have to say that I am a sucker for natural objects and, in general, don't like man-made materials very much. While this mixes man-made and natural, high-tech and low-tech, I love that there are actual stones holding the heat. Unfortunately, the rest of the product is very synthetic. The heating portion of the pad is only in the center under the stones. Surrounding the center is thick, very padded, water-proof fabric. Over the stones is a rather rough mesh. The mesh is sewn in a grid pattern that leaves each stone in its own little pocket. It's certainly not the velvety plushness that I have in my other heating pads. I have lain with my face on the pad and enjoyed it because of the heat of the stones, but the coarse mesh doesn't feel good under my skin. The reason I like this a lot is because, in my mind, the heat just feels better coming from the stones. Maybe it's because I'm thinking of them as naturally-warmed stones and I'm not thinking as much about electricity coursing through wires and generating heat (even though I know that's exactly what's happening under the stones). For whatever reason, they just seem so much more inviting even under their mesh barrier. They do get quite warm, to some temperature within the specified range. Since they're stone, however, they take a long time to get warm, much longer than any of the other heating devices I have. I would recommend putting it on a longer timer and start it at least ten minutes before you actually want to use it. Although the included booklet does not mention using it with water, apart from for cleaning purposes, the listing online talks about spraying it and having moist heat. With all of the heavy, waterproof materials, it does seem reasonable that I could have moisture on top of the heating pad and it should be fine. Since the booklet doesn't mention that, though, I've been too chicken to mix water and electricity. I've unplugged the mat and sprayed it then with good results. If I work up my courage to use water on it, I will update my review. I would be thrilled if I could eventually get a moist heat out of this. What I'd really like is to have a thin damp cloth across the stones.No, I don't think it's worth the current price ($80 or $50 with a coupon), but I think it's a definite step up from the various other heating pads that I've tried. I do sort of feel like this might be the heating pad equivalent of a placebo for me where it's really no better than a standard one but in my mind it should be so I think of it better. In the end, though, I do definitely prefer it to my other heating pads so that's how I'm rating it.

This is by far the best heating pad I've ever used. As someone who uses red light therapy regularly, I've become very fascinated with how light can provide therapeutic benefits for the body. Where red light therapy uses near infrared that can penetrate the skin by only a couple centimeters, the far infrared emitted from this heating pad can penetrate 5-6 inches. What I find so interesting about this is that it's the jade stones that actually become activated by electricity and generate the far infrared radiation. Unlike a standard heating pad that just heats the surface of your skin, this more or less heats your body from the inside out and it feels amazing!This heating pad will take several minutes to feel like it's heating up and regardless of the setting you choose, it's not going to feel all that hot to the touch. When you place it on your body in the area you wish to treat, that is when you will feel a pleasant warmth coming over you. The first time I used it on my lower back I felt so relaxed and the pain I had just melted away. I went to bed an hour early and slept like a baby.These far infrared heating pads are quite a bit more expensive than standard ones, although this GARVEE heating pad is priced a little lower than most that I've seen and it's a generous size so I think it's a great value. If you're trying to decide whether it's worth it, my opinion is that it most definitely is. Now that I know how amazing these are I would not hesitate to buy another one.

This heating pad is the most heavy and padded heating pad I've ever seen. It gets up to temperature very quickly, and the stones and moist heat options are also exemplary. It has a long cord and very simple easy controls.The construction seems very good, and I expect it to hold up well under frequent use. I particularly like the pictures showing users laying on the heating pad. Most heating pads I've seen are not to be sat or laid upon, so this is a great advantage.Great heating pad, with a large heating area, and quick infrared heating. Significantly better then other heating pads I've seen.
