This machine is a fine substitute for my Kitchenaid KF7 while we’re traveling in our Airstream. No issues whatsoever.
I love this machine so far! I’ve had it for 5 weeks now. It brews strong coffee. A nice feature is that you can adjust the water amount hence the strength. I have made various sizes and strengths of espressos, Americanos, and caps to date and have yet to try the double espresso feature. I am a coffee lover...I have a collection of beans from my travels in Costa Rica, Mexico and Europe. This machine brings out the best flavor and aroma of the beans.Like the other reviews I noticed that there was some sogginess going on in the discard bin with the used grounds. Changing the grinder level helped with that issue.Suggestions: Clean the machine thoroughly before first use. Clean all the parts in soapy water and vinegar. Let the parts sit at least 10 minutes in this solution to rid the new machine of its 'new-plasticy' scent. Rinse and hand dry each piece. I did this with the internal grinder parts as well, although the directions state to dry brush it clean. Also, for the utmost brew consider adding fresh water to the tank daily instead of letting the water sit overnight in the plastic reservoir.
My favorite!!! I got this for a friend bananas I loved mine so much and her whole family loves it!
The coffee maker is great, the only downfall is the screen. I have to press my selection a few times for it to register what I select. Other than that is great
