This bamboo cutting board is big and heavy, indicating its quality. Bamboo is a great choice of material for a cutting board. Bamboo is also more eco-friendly than some other materials, and it's relatively easy to care for.I put my board on my sink for more workspace when working in my little kitchen. The only thing I wish were different is that it would be great for there to be a cut in the little moat so that you could pour off the excess fluids from your work. When not in use, I stand my washed and dried board on it's side and slide it between my cabinets.

Replaced all plastic type cutting boards. I love this bamboo board. I use one side for meat and the other for veggies.Wipes clean easily and no splintering. Very durable!
It is a solid heavy board.
I place this over my sink whenever I am cooking and have so much space to chop all different kinds of ingredients without pulling out 10 different boards. It is sturdy bamboo and easily cleans. You can even use it as a serving tray if needed. When I'm not using this, I put it on top of my gas stove for a bit of extra "counter" space. Recommended.

Like another reviewer (Susie Q), I’m also trying to determine how I can contact Gaoman to ask for clarification about cleaning with salt water. I’ve tried their website and also have looked online in general to see if using salt water on new cutting boards is a ‘thing’ - and am coming up with no answers. I’d love to know what they’re talking about since this was no small investment for me and I want to keep this cutting board nice.
Love these bamboo cutting boards! Ours was purchased to cover the glass cooktop in our SeaRay 40DA. Fits like a glove (we had to do a little sanding on one side to make it fit within the rails). Now, we have extra workspace in the galley that we use all the time now. It looks really nice, too. :)
I really like the bamboo cutting board and the instructions for use and care gives recommendations and said “if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!” I need to know about cleaning with salt water how much salt, etc. and would like to know more instructions!Please answer my questions!
