I purchased this rug because it’s supposed to be machine washable. I’m sure it will have to be an industrial washer at the laundromat. The reason for this need is sitting nicely on the rug. Being washable, it’s thinner and less cushy than previous rug so I have ordered a $17 nonslip rug pad. The look is exactly as pictured online.
I'm very pleased with the two rug runners that I purchased. They immediately layed well and did not slide. Vacuuming has also been great with no issue. I haven't had to wash them yet but so far I'm glad I bought these. Thank you
We love the oriental look of this hallway or kitchen runner which dresses up our kitchen nicely while giving it a splash of color. We already had one accident and dropped a white powder used for fertilizing plants and it cleaned easily by just sweeping and picking it up with a dustpan. If we weren't so lazy, we could have also dragged out the vacuum cleaner, but the point is that it was very easy to clean. And if that failed, we could have just put it in the washing machine or sent out the robo cleaners. The low profile of the rug is a great advantage since we have two whole house robotic vacuum cleaners. They have been known to get stuck and leave messes on rugs with a thick pile. The GARVEE rugs have a short pile, but they still feel luxurious and soft when walking on them with bare feet. I think this is a great mat for environments that are in a high zone for potential spills and messes. And they look nice.
