I absolutely love the low pile. It just about as easy to clean as a hard floor. The low pile makes it a game changer with pets. Dirt doesn't pile up in the rug, as it does with deep pile rugs. The low pile surprisingly does well in a high traffic area where my dogs track across it. Still, it is easy as running a broom over it to remove dirt they track onto it. Spot cleaning is so easy with a damp rag. I wipe the rug down with a damp rag between washing. The photos show the rug folds up into a nice compact size. It is machine washable as stated. I have spent decades battling with deep pile rugs to get them clean and it is a battle I would lose and always toss the rug. I have been absolutely amazed at how well the low pile rug cleans. When my small dog has had a 'spill' on the rug, it comes totally clean and no stain is left behind.The rug has durable stitching along the edges. It has a non-slip high quality backing.
