orginally I ordered this sturdy good quality runner rug for my kitchen, It looked really nice there, Then it somehow migrated to the hallway where it now resides. It is the perfect color, size in both length and width for the hall way.This hall way is a high traffic area. people wearing only socks on their feet, tennis shoes, hiking boots and heavy work boots all make several trips daily through this major route, hall way, in our house. It does get dirty. And sometimes things are spilled on it too.I am happy to say that daily cleanings with a regular kitchen broom works very well to clean the rug, spills wipe up easily, and once or twice a week, depending on weather, this rug gets tossed into the washing machine.My hall way runner comes out clean, and ready to be put back in the hall way. It does not show any signs of wear. There are no trails or paths worn in the carpet. It is still as new looking as the day it arrived.This is a very good quality rug, The color is nice for areas with lots of foot traffic. It is well made, sturdy, rugged and wears very well. I do recommend this rug for everyone.

Instead of using this runner rug as a long hallway runner, I use it sideways in front of a washer and dryer. My basement where my washer and dryer are has a clean but old floor, and I just don't like dropping clothes on it when transferring between the washer and dryer to to the basket. This rug is silky soft and stays in place because of the backing material.

The rug has a very silky texture and a rubber backing that keeps it in place. The colors are neutral and rustic.It’s slightly less thick than a regular non washable rug and much lighter.It does get picked up by the vacuum when it’s on a carpeted surface. It’s less of a problem on linoleum. The size was perfect for our need which was to go in front of 2 bathroom sinks.So far it’s been easy to clean and can be washed in a standard washing machine. The quality is what I expected for this product at this price point. It’s a good rug.
