This is an extremely high quality, heavy duty, durable dog ramp. It is very easy to set up. It fits perfectly on the back of my Chevy Blazer to provide a gradual slope for my dogs. I have an Australian Shepard Cattle Dog Mix, that doesn't like it at all if I try to pull him up into the vehicle with his leash. He is definitely too heavy for me to lift. Now he feels so much more secure when he can walk up the ramp on his own. It never occurred to me that my Shih Tzu could use it too. As soon as I put it on the back of the SUV, my 8 lb Shih Tzu was walking up the back of the ramp. He thinks everything that comes out of a box is for him. lol It actually works out great for him, so he can now learn to get into the vehicle on his own without the need for me to carry him into the car. My dog felt very secure and comfortable on the ramp.The ramp is versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. I have a large trailer and it a bit too high for me to step up into the trailer. I will be using this ramp to access the trailer. The ramp folds up to a nice small compact size and it takes little space to store. I am extremely happy with the GARVEE Dog Ramp for Cars. Solid, well-made ramp. Very few are this long. I just bought a lifted 4x4 truck and made a signed in the back crew cab seat which made things two high for my dogs to jump in so I purchased this ramp. It is sturdy and well-made and has carpeting for good foot traction. Even though it looks steep in the photos it allows my older border Collie with hip problems and my newer lab puppy to get into and out of the truck. It folds up fairly small but still is bulky because of how well made it is. As you can see in photo there is a nice handle to lift. It's not too heavy to set up for me and I'm happy that the hinges and overall product looks like it will last forever.

I purchased this ramp for my 108lbs GSD to help get into my car. She has hurt her shoulders/joints hopping out of the truck in the past. She has gained some weight which has made it difficult to get her into any of the vehicles for appointments/travel. I read the reviews for this ramp before I purchased it, and I appreciate the comments about watching out for your fingers getting pinched when folding and unfolding this ramp. I’ve used it three times so far and it works great with my Hyundai Tucson. This ramp is sturdy, has carpet on it for grip, and it’s easy to use. My dog wears a harness which made it easy to guide her up and down the ramp.

I’m so glad that I bought this ramp. My dog has joint issues, so this ramp is perfect for helping her get in and out of the car with ease. It’s incredibly stable and well-designed, with a non-slip rug surface that gives him secure footing, even on rainy days. The 71” length and gentle incline make it easy for him to walk up without any hesitation or fear, which was a big concern for us with other ramps. This is an item I've needed for awhile and am very glad I finally got it. We have Anatolian Shepherds which grow to be around 110-190 lbs. We were trying to get our dogs to jump into the back of our SUV. Sometimes they would do it, sometimes not and then we had to lift them in which was not good for our backs. This ramp is a game changer for them and us. Now they confidently walk up the ramp into the back of our SUV with no issues. Our backs are also thanking us. The set up of this ramp is relatively easy. Just needs to be unfolded and placed. Once finished, it is easy to refold to its smaller shape and is very portable as well. When set, it feels very stable and I really like the slip resistant material on the surface of the ramp. Without it, I'm sure our dogs would be more hesitant to use it. Very pleased with this ramp and my only regret is that we did not get it sooner.

Lightweight durable ramp, well made with attention to detail. Folds easily to compact size. (Watch your fingers when opening and closing to prevent getting pinched.) It's a great ramp!

My dog is getting older and she can't jump into the car anymore, and I'm getting older so my back can't handle picking her up. So it was time for a ramp. This ramp impressed me overall with how solid it feels, but also how overall it's still lightweight to handle. I would say my only gripe is the aluminum square tube that makes up the frame construction is sharp, and when you're unfolding the ramp your fingers could get pinched in those sharp corners as it unfolds. I plan to file those down so that the edges aren't sharp, so that in the event something gets pinched it won't cause an injury.

I really wanted this to work with the back seat. which is were my dogseat is attached. But the door on my Honda crosstour was just a smidge to narrow. It is long when extended so not great for tight side by side parking spaces. We we went with the next best option. It works well with the hatchback. There is usually more room behind the car than on the sides anyway. It took a couple test tries, but once he realized it would hold his weight (27lbs) he got pretty comfortable with it. It was sturdy and he didn't slip while going up. He prefers to jump down for now though.It is a little heavy for lifting, but opens and closes easily. For us going through the back is a little troublesome as we need to have the seat down as he cant easily climb over it. After he is inside I close the hatchback and walk around to the back door to get him strapped in. A little more work than I expected. But I know longer need to lift him in and out of the car. So the solution works
