I mounted it near my workbench, and the sweep covers the full area. It keeps the air moving without having a fan sitting in the walkway.
We keep our dogs’ crates and some storage shelves in the garage, and I always worried about how hot it got in the summer. Installing this Garvee wall fan has really helped. We mounted it high and let the oscillation sweep across the general area without aiming directly into their crates. On low, the airflow is gentle but makes a clear difference in comfort. On hotter days we bump it to medium, and the whole garage feels less stuffy. High is very strong and we mostly use it when the door is open and we’re working out there. The fan frees up floor space and feels much safer than the old box fan we had sitting by the crates. The dual pull cords are convenient when we’re carrying food or supplies. It’s sturdy, doesn’t rattle, and the noise doesn’t bother the dogs at all. Overall, a big upgrade for a pet‑friendly garage setup.
The dual pull cords are simple and practical. I mounted the fan higher than head level, and I can still change the speed or oscillation without reaching for the unit.
