This 1/2 black-coated hardware cloth is exactly what I needed. The coating is thick, smooth, and really well done it gives the wire a clean, finished look while adding extra protection against rust. The mesh is sturdy and holds its shape, which makes installation so much easier compared to cheaper brands that bend or warp.
I used it for my chicken coop and run, and it feels incredibly secure. The 1/2 spacing keeps predators out, and the black coating makes it blend in beautifully so the enclosure doesnt look bulky or messy. It cuts cleanly with the right tools and lays flat without fighting you.

This black galvanized hardware cloth has been the perfect solution to lining our coops to protect against smaller predators such as venomous snakes and weasels due to the 1/2 inch openings. The cloth is strong, durable, and easy to work with. We use wire cutters to trim as necessary, and zip ties work great for securing the cloth to the coop frame. I am really pleased with both the quality and usefulness of this item.
Great quality and very good value for the price
This hardware cloth is very high quality and arrived in perfect condition. I was honestly impressed by how well it was packaged. It was wrapped in paper, then reinforced with another layer of hardware cloth over that, and placed inside a heavy duty box that was also packed inside an additional box. Nothing was bent or damaged at all.The material itself feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy or cheap like some hardware cloth can be. The wire is strong and evenly spaced, making it ideal for garden use and projects where durability matters. You can tell right away this is something that will hold up over time.I purchased this to use in my raised garden beds and I am really looking forward to putting it to work. Based on the quality and the care taken with packaging, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone needing reliable hardware cloth for gardening or other projects.
