This 1/2 black-coated hardware cloth is exactly what I needed. The coating is thick, smooth, and really well done it gives the wire a clean, finished look while adding extra protection against rust. This 3 foot by 50 foot long roll of ½ inch square weave hardware cloth is just the thing for our planned chicken coop at the farm. The half inch weave is plenty large enough for ventilation, but the galvanized, 19 gauge wire is tenacious enough to deter both pest and predator.A must-have for centuries!
