Good for a DIYer

Pressed out my bearings from 8.8 Ford ring and pinion and reinstalled carrier bearings with no problems!Although, It was missing a bolt to the legs whichI I had one laying around to replace. For what I needed it to do, it worked great and saved me a ton of money for what a local shop wanted to charge to do this job!!

Works great

If you are in need of a small Press this is a good one. 6 ton for pressing power

Good value in a 20 Ton Hydraulic Press

Well packaged, delivered in good condition. Easy enough to assemble. Only gripe is the press plates don't compare to the ones you receive at Harbor Freight and to purchase them brings the price closer to what I could have just bought the Press for at Harbor Freight. Overall a good value! Looking forward to pressing out the bushings on my Honda's control arms soon with this Press.

Did what I wanted it to do

This is pretty much what I expected for the price. Everything is small and kind of thin but it does work.Testing it out, I flattened some angle iron pieces which it did with no problem. I also pressed out (and pressed back in) a wheel stud. That took some sketchy setup and it took everything this little press could do but it did work.I wish the plates were thicker but they held up fine besides the paint which is not surprising and doesn't effect the usefulness.I debated with myself if this cheaper 6 ton bench too press would be enough or if I should spend more money and get the larger 12 ton floor model. I haven't actually used this one for a real job yet so I might regret this decision later but it looks like it should do most of the jobs I hoped it could do and it is relatively easy to move or store away when not needed which was a big part of my reasoning to go with this one.I also considered building my own hydraulic press. That likely would have cost at least as much as this one did not even considering the time it would take. I may still build my own (or modify this one) if it turns out this isn't enough but, considering this is the first press I've ever owned and the jobs i expect to use this for, I'm happy with this one for now. Like many tools, I really expect this to be one of the things I'll wonder how I got by without it for so long.
