  • 6-TON HYDRAULIC POWER FOR DEMANDING TASKS: H-frame shop press delivers reliable 6-ton force with an industrial-grade hydraulic system, perfect for automotive repairs like bearing removal, U-joint installation, and metalworking projects including straightening and stamping. It provides consistent performance for professionals and DIYers in garages or repair shops.
  • ADJUSTABLE WORKTABLE WITH MOVABLE STAMPING PLATES: Customize your setup with a pin-adjusted height table (3.15” to 10.28”) and two repositionable stamping plates, allowing secure handling of various part sizes for precise pressing, bending, and assembly with ergonomic efficiency in any workshop.
  • AUTOMATIC RELIEF VALVE FOR SAFETY: Includes an integrated relief valve that activates when exceeding the maximum capacity, preventing overpressure risks and ensuring operator safety and equipment longevity during high-force applications such as bushing pressing or gear work.
  • DURABLE CARBON STEEL H-FRAME CONSTRUCTION: Built with 0.2-inch thick carbon steel and a reinforced H-base for maximum stability, reducing wobble during operation. The powder-coated finish offers corrosion resistance, ideal for tough garage and metalworking environments.
  • VERSATILE FOR AUTOMOTIVE AND METAL FABRICATION: Suitable for a wide range of uses, from auto repair shops to home garages, handling tasks like pressing truck bearings, straightening frames, and working with gears, pulleys, and ball joints for both professionals and hobbyists.

Eclectic Amalgam
Solid entry-level shop press for bearings, bushings, and straightening jobs

I added this 12-ton shop press to my garage primarily for bearing work, bushings, and occasional fabrication projects where a hammer simply isn't the right tool. Assembly took some time because of the number of pieces involved, but once assembled the frame felt stable and well suited for typical home-shop use.The adjustable worktable makes it easier to accommodate different-sized parts, and the included press plates are useful for common automotive jobs. I've used presses that cost considerably more, and while this isn't a commercial production-shop machine, it generates more than enough force for most DIY automotive repairs and maintenance tasks. One thing to keep in mind is that a press always works best when parts are properly supported and aligned. Taking a few extra minutes to set up the workpiece correctly makes the job safer and helps avoid damaging components.I rated it 5 stars because it performs the jobs most home mechanics buy a press for—bearing installation, bushing removal, straightening, and pressing components apart—without taking up the space or budget of a much larger industrial unit.

Solid press, Instructions are bad, the diagram and the parts list are enough

Got the 12-ton red press. The written instructions are useless, basically a parts list with arrows. If you've ever assembled a shop tool you'll figure the rest out from the picture in about 20 minutes. If you haven't, this might not be the unit to learn on. I put it all together then tightened it all down.Once assembled, the press does what a 12-ton hydraulic press does. The H-frame doesn't wobble under load, the hydraulic ram strokes smoothly, the adjustable worktable spans the height range advertised, the included press plates cover the common shapes. The 6-ton automatic pressure relief valve is a real safety feature, not marketing. For a home garage press at this size and capacity, it's the standard build. Bearings, bushings, U-joints, light straightening work, it handles all of that without flinching. Past about 8 tons of actual applied load you'll feel the H-frame work a little, which is normal. One note, I read some things about the welds. I don't understand why you would question the welds. There are no welds under pressure when you are putting pressure on anything. The base bars are U shaped with steel plates sitting on top, and they rest on steel pins in drilled u shaped iron. No welds on the bottom. The top has welds, but they only keep the alignment. The steel plate up top pushes against another solid piece of steel with 2 bolts on each end. Again the jack is pushing against a solid piece of steel bolted to the top. Someone didn't understand the physics when they were questioning the welds. The price is fair on the press, even nicer is it is delivered to your door.

Solid Shop Press That Handles Most Garage Jobs Without Problems

For those who tinker with car repairs or garage projects, a press is often essential – it's practically impossible to do anything without one. Disassembling bearings, pressing bushings, or aligning parts used to be incredibly difficult, but this press makes things much easier. For a home garage or small workshop, a 12-ton press can handle most common tasks. What I like most is its robust structure, which is more solid than I expected. The H-frame provides good stability and doesn't wobble easily with light pressure. The hydraulic system works smoothly so far, with stable pressure build-up, providing strong pressure on wheel bearings, U-joints, and suspension bushings. I also appreciate the adjustable worktable, which allows for adjustments based on part height, making it much more flexible. The included press plates are practical for everyday use, eliminating the need to buy them separately. I'm also pleased that its size is ideal for a home garage, not taking up as much space as a large industrial press, while still providing sufficient functionality for many DIY mechanics. The red exterior also gives it a tool shed feel in the garage. For those who enjoy DIY car repair, this shop press is truly worthwhile the more you use it, especially since many jobs that used to require sending your car to a repair shop can now be handled by yourself. Under normal use, the hydraulic operation feels quite good, with no noticeable jamming or pressure leakage issues.
