I ordered this rug to replace a twelve-year-old bath mat. It made it to the bathroom floor only so long as it took me to walk back to the standing desk in my home office.I prefer not to wear shoes in the house, so a comfortable surface is appreciated. This area rug is soft though not cushy, covers the wear in the carpet, and happens to be the perfect size for my workspace. It also looks great in that spot.My carpet has a definite nap that causes rugs and mats to rapidly “walk” out of place. Surprisingly, this small area rug resists that effect more than any other I have tried.Another factor in my location decision were the care instructions. The label calls for washing on the gentle cycle and either line-drying or drying without heat in the dryer. Not terrible, but not how I ordinarily launder. So long as I remember to take off my boots before dashing in to order parts, the number of special loads will be reduced.Full disclosure: I ordered this GARVEE Area Rug 2x3 Moroccan Rug through the Garvee Vine program. It is very soft, comfortable, love the feel. Easy to clean. And seeing it is machine washable, I like that. I just fit in the living room so well.
