I was nervous buying something no reviews but I’m glad I did. It took about 2.5 to 3 hours to build. Instructions were easy to understand. Minus a few pieces that arrived chipped, it was in good shape. It has a ton of storage underneath. I have multiple 12 packs of soda, energy drinks, chips, and even a large box of cereal. We aren’t using it with the shelf extended but if we did, it would hold a lot more on top too. It’s so pretty and adds a pop of color in the house.
I love this thing.Just put mine together. The design is well thought out to make putting it together easy and using it easier than expected.In *most* cases there's just one way to put it together so you're less likely to make a mistake and have to take it apart and start again.The best part for me was the middle shelf in the bottom was split in 2 and like bookshelf shelves - they aren't permanently built in. So if you have some taller appliances that need a home, you can leave out one or both shelves to have the bottom be twice the height. And if you change your mind it's trivial to change the configuration.And the little trim at the bottom of the top shelf that is a series of round humps? That actually flips out flat so you can more easily get things out of the shelf! I thought it was going to be a pain in the neck getting things out of that top shelf, but they took care of that. I didn't see that coming.So between the trim and the glass sliding doors what you put on the shelves won't fall out as you wheel the island about, while both open up to full height when you want to get things out. And the patterned glass is nice to mask out the visual clutter of the stuff you put behind it.
