Brown rugs fit in well with a wide variety of decor, especially with brown furniture. The checkered pattern draws the eye to the edges and creates a feeling of space in the center. Got this for in front of our sliding glass door, and it fits perfectly. The price is actually very good compared to similar washable runners out there. The non-slip factor is a plus, especially on our tile floors, which are slippery as all heck if your shoes or feet are wet, you have to actively lift a corner of the rug to move it across the floor easily, otherwise, it's staying put. Washing these is easiest if you have a front-load washer, but you can also hang it over a fence, or clothesline, and spray it off.

I’m so in love with the pattern of this rug. With the little checks that go around the edge of the rug in a nice broad edge I just love it! The color is really pretty too. It’s listed as a taupe, and it is. it’s got a rustic quality. That looks really nice in my room. The rug feels well-made. It doesn’t have a lot of pile but it’s still soft. The non-skid back, keeps it in place on the floor and the edges are stitched tightly. There was no shedding. There was no smell and I’m excited that I can someday put it in the washing machine. Very happy.

I purchased this in anticipation of a spoken need through my wife. Her joy and approval is my approval. It's the right type of thin as a kitchen rug; its soft and has a nice cleanable texture. Well done.

We have hardwood floors and at times during the cooler months, I like to have a rug down to make an area just a bit cozier. Works perfectly in our sitting room. We have 3 cats and with that sometimes comes a hairball incident. The ability to be able to wash it in my machine is such a plus. The rug isn't overly thick, but it’s soft on our feet and the cats enjoy it too. Great non-slip backing keeps it in place.

I had to exchange for smaller size, because my roommate cannot measure, BUT… ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! You would never believe that this can be used outside. It is SO SOFT, really decent pile depth. Using it in an enclosed porch that has a slat floor. Probably will only use in winter to keep the northern winds that creep in at bay. GREAT QUALITY, BEAUTIFUL RUG. I am moving in spring, and may purchase these in larger sizes for indoor. Highly recommend!

It really does fit in your washing machine which in order to do so it has to be pretty thin, so you shouldn't be surprised by that. It comes folded up fairly small and when you first undo it, it does have some pretty good creases but those do fall out pretty quickly. It lays pretty flat even right out of the package.Having a house full of animals and wanting to use this in a relatively high traffic area, I'm really pleased with it. I can't tell you how many carpets I've rolled up and thrown away when they get too dirty. This one I just toss in the wash.
