I just got it but.... No fire ants have come thru and even though the ground is rough, I can sit, lay and roll on it like it was a Florida room! I love it and so do the dogs.... the old princess is glad I got an outdoor rug for her, lol. There is enough room for my swing, table and chairs.... and it's portable.... love it!!
This is a large 8 x 10 outdoor rug with a modern checkerboard pattern in white and black. I like the tight weave of the plastic strands so furniture sits nicely on top without snagging. The manufacturer does recommend lifting furniture and not dragging it on the rug which makes sense. There are 4 pegs included in case you want to stake the four corners but mine is on a deck so will not need to be staked - the furniture will hold it in place. This rug takes a bit of manuevering to get the creases out since you have to unfold the rug and then reverse fold the creases to get them to lay flat. My 4 piece wicker set fit almost entirely on this rug so it worked great. Nice bold pattern and colors so would look good with any accent color in your decor.
This rug is a great size to take with us camping. It comes in a travel bag and has stakes to put in the loops on each end. I did drop a star because the creases from the folding are difficult to pull out even with staking the rug. I’m hoping over time they will give up. The rug is nice. It’s easy to clean and I like that I can flip it over and change the look.
