Easy to assemble. Some parts were chipped but all in all, looked good. Very sturdy. The nesting boxes are a little small for my babies but all in all, happy with the purchase

This catio is sturdy and roomy. We wanted our new kitten to have a safe place to be outside during the day, and this is just perfect. She especially likes the nap box. I’m pleased that the construction is sturdy enough that I don’t have to worry that my small dogs can get inside.

Perfect cat retreat for taste of the outdoors

I put this together alone in about 4 hours. I carefully set all the pieces out, arranged by number. A couple pieces I had to determine which end was up based on a photo of the finished product. The piece with the entrance slot was the only piece that had missing drill holes but everything else went together as expected. It is strong enough, but the heavy tar and asphalt roof provides excellent weight and increased sturdiness. The roof also extends a few inches all the way around for good protection from rain. I do worry about the bottom of the catio sitting in water after it rains so I made a few additions.I added a gutter downspout extension so rainwater wouldn’t pool around the wooden base. I also added a rubber 2” L-shaped trim under the bottom around the sides and front (after this photo was taken) so the wood base wouldn’t sit in water and potentially weaken or rot.My cat absolutely love it. Before we added, this, we were almost breaking our necks, trying to get out our front and back doors without tripping over the cats and letting them out. Their call of the wild appears to have been alleviated by having the ability to go “outside.”Another tip- the window our catio backs up to is sunken back about 5 inches. I bought vinyl/rubber floor trim and used it to block the slight side gap and open top so the cats couldn’t escape as they were entering the catio. We and the cats are thrilled with this addition. It is attractive and well worth the cost.
