Black dye has green tinge

Overall this is a nice rug. It’s soft for a washable, low profile which isn’t always the case. The nonslip backing seems to stay put on tile as long as there’s no dirt or dust underneath to cause slipping. However the coloring is a bit disappointing. When the fibers are rubbed against by walking, you can see the white “roots” under where the black has been dyed. Also in some spots, the black has a green tint to it.I haven’t washed it yet and am a bit nervous because I think the black dye might bleed intoThe white. I’m also not sure if it will fit into my washer.Overall it’s nice for the price I’d say.

Adorable and Soft, but Fades in High-Traffic Areas

This black and white checkered rug is surprisingly soft and feels great under the feet; additionally, the non-slip backing works well to keep it in place. However, it doesn't handle heavy foot traffic very well and tends to look worn down quickly. My biggest disappointment is that it's marketed as washable, but the colors faded noticeably after the first wash. While I love the initial look and feel, the lack of durability is a major drawback.

Great for a high traffic area as it doesn't seem to absorb moisture easily!

This rug is not a thick shag and is more of a flat simple rug. It's been perfect for my teenagers bedroom as it gets a lot of traffic in and out and has held up really well so far. It's a really soft feel when sitting on it.With the size being so large it's been a great way to cover a good part of his wood flooring and make the room more homey with his recent teen updates he just made in his room.The best part of the rug that I've noticed so far is that when a drink was spilled on it, it just pooled on top and did not soak in!! I couldn't believe it! I was about to put a rag on it and soak up most of it without much being pushed into the rug. I still scrubbed the rug to be sure it was fully cleaned, but I was really impressed by this.
