I really like the look of it and how smoothly the drawers move in and out. I also like the fact that the drawers pull all the way out and that all 3 can be locked at the same time. In addition, the value for the money was well worth it.

This is a good quality, heavy filing cabinet. Assembly was simple with the included pictorial instructions. All pieces were accounted for and arrived undamaged. The drawers open and close smoothly, and seem sturdy enough to hold heavy files and binders. The lock turns smoothly as well and appears to be secure. I like that there are several configurations for hanging files in a drawer, although the adjustable hanging bars are useless with heavy folders. This cabinet is perfect for the corner of the office and should last a long time. The black matte finish is very nice. I’m satisfied with this product.

It has more space than I'll ever need, but still a small footprint. The lock bar at the top was a little tricky to understand during assembly - I didn't realize it is pivoted by the locking mechanism. On each side there are two pins... back one goes in a stationary hole (the pivot) and the front one goes in the slider bar that moves up and down.

It’s made of steel and the packaging was really good. No scratches or damage. I found the setup guide to be very helpful and easy to follow and setup. This contains a lot of space and the lock mechanism works perfectly. I like the black color. Overall happy with the purchase

Lots of screws, easy assembly

It’s a great product. When it was shipped I noticed it had a dent on the one drawer so I contacted the company and they took care of it. Works great other than that

Nice filing cabinet but it HAS to be PERFECTLY level or the drawers won't open and close. We're in a 100nyear old house so was fun to level.

I needed a lateral file cabinet to replace an older, smaller one and had high hopes for this one. After putting it together and using it for a few weeks, I do like it. I like the sleek black look and clean lines.Once it's fully assembled, it's actually quite sturdy. The metal feels substantial, and the drawers, when empty, do glide smoothly on their tracks. It holds a standard hanging file folder without any issue, and the locking mechanism does work to secure all three drawers at once. For the price, the amount of storage space you get is decent.Now, for the not-so-good: the claim of "easy assembly" is a real stretch. The instructions are vague, with diagrams that are sometimes hard to interpret. The worst part was the packaging. The Styrofoam blocks disintegrated into thousands of tiny, statically-charged pellets that got absolutely everywhere—it was a huge mess.During assembly, I found that several pre-drilled holes didn't line up perfectly, requiring some force (and a bit of swearing) to get the screws started. There are also a couple of screws in very tight corners that are nearly impossible to tighten properly with the included tool. You'll want a magnetic screwdriver or a small ratchet set on hand.My final take? It's a functional cabinet if you're patient and somewhat handy with assembly. But if you're looking for a truly hassle-free, "easy to assemble" experience out of the box, you might want to look at other options with better reviews regarding the setup process. It gets the job done, but it was more of a project than I anticipated.

The filing cabinet was quite nice once it was put together…but it did take a bit of time, even though it was well engineered. P.S.: The outside packaging was terrible, though inside product OK, but some of the cabinets corners needed to be straightened out.
