I'm not a DJ, so I can't comment on that use case, but if you are a solo performer or small group, I think this light would really come in handy. I love that it runs on an internal battery. Just set it up, turn it on, and you're ready to go. The housing is plastic, so it's not going to take a huge beating, but I have a padded case that I store my lights in, so that's never an issue. I wish the remote had something to fit into on the light itself because I feel like it could get misplaced rather easily, but none of the lights I've even gotten have that feature.The light is bright and the colors look good and will definitely add to any performance at a coffeehouse or any other kind of small stage setting. The biggest drawback is that the charger isn't USB. The barrel plug/jack used to be a thing in the past, but I think a USB-C would do just fine charging this, and since I have USB-C cables everywhere, I wouldn't have to worry about losing this barrel-style cable. All in all, though, I'm happy with this light and am looking forward to using it a lot more.

These lights have lasted me about a year now, playing DIY shows left and right! They’re insanely bright, and light up an entire room! They each are compatible with the remotes, so you can change colors of all of them at once if you choose! However, the remotes don’t always change each light, and it can be inconsistent. The colors of the lights are very strong, and there is MANY options to choose from.

This worked great for a large space. The controllers are sometimes tricky since 1 can control all the lights! Even with sunlight and and in a bright room, the colors still shined very bright. It was a very simple set up and they're very lightweight which makes it easy to store.

I bought these for a house party and can’t believe how much they transformed the room. Very happy with them! Loved going through all the colors too. We will use these over and over!
