I needed a doormat that was long enough to fit a set of double doors leading to our back porch and that was also washable. I chose this runner for those reasons and it’s neutral color with a little bit of green to match the decor of our house. It’s actually a little bit too long for the space by about an inch, but still looks nice and woks exactly as I needed it to.I’ve already had to wash it once due to dirty dog feet and it held up well in the machine. There was no fraying or color fading. It doesn’t have a non-slip bottom so that might be an issue for some, but a little bit of double sided tape takes care of that issue.It’s simple yet nice sort of plaid design works well with a lot of colors. It fits my needs and I’m very happy with it.
This mat was meant for my front door entry and it does a good job. It has more grey in it than I expected but that helps hide the dirt.
Pros:-I wanted a cheap solution to protect my tile during the winter and this rug did the trick.-The rug has a nice grip on the bottom to prevent slipping and sliding on tile.-The pattern is great, and I like the subtle inclusion of the muted sage green, which adds a touch of color and helps to bring life to my room.Considerations:-This is “washable” but it would be too big to fit in my home washer. I guess I could power wash it.-This arrived folded so there were creases in the rug which would require an iron to smooth if you want it to be flat immediately. I plan to just let it naturally release. This is expected for the price.
I was looking for a new rug for just inside my front entry when I came across this washable 6’ runner rug and decided to give it a try.The surface of the rug is super soft and the pattern and colors are perfect for my space. When it arrives it will be folded up, so give it a few days for the folds to release (I took my photo right after unboxing). If they persist — it’s washable — so throw it in for a wash and give it 10 minutes in the dryer to really flatten it out.One note: the pattern appears to be screen printed, not woven into the material. It’s high quality and does not look cheap, but if you inspect it close up, you might notice the style of print.
