Reviews
This is what I’d call a low-to-middle weight rug, probably closer to the former since it weighs in at just 10 pounds or so for a 5 x 7 size.
That isn’t to say this is cheaply made. It’s one of the few area rugs I’ve seen in this price class that has sewn edges instead of just letting the threads fly.
Very soft to the touch - you’ll like walking on this.
Even better is the rubber-like bottom that keeps it from slipping on hard surfaces.
I got the brown version and I’d call it a distressed type of design. Looks like what some may call “shabby chic”.
Do keep in mind that some vacuum cleaners with beater bars may cause this rug to pucker up, so be sure to tread lightly.
This rug is well-made, and the scalloped edges give it a nice touch, however, it makes the actual coverage of the rug smaller. The color is accurately depicted online. The rug itself is soft and has a sturdy, non-slip backing that helps it stay in place well without shifting. It is a low pile rug, but comfortable nonetheless.
I have been looking for a scalloped neutral rug for a while. This was a great find. It’s a gorgeous color and the price for an 8x10 was very fair! It is SO SOFT!! Our dog loves to lay on it and nap. And our toddler has gotten a few messes on it, but with the right cleaner, things come out of this rug pretty well. My one complaint is that it’s hard to vacuum; maybe from the thickness or material. And every footprint / little mark (like if you sit a plate down), will show. Which can be a bit annoying. Overall, I’d purchase this again and I do love it. The color is so pretty.
This took a while to arrive, but shipping from China to the US is a nightmare, so there's that, but it was worth the wait. It looks even nicer than in the picture. I love the design and all of the chromatic blue colors. It comes folded, but relaxes in less than a day, it's so soft, and the perfect thickness for the hardwood floors. It is a bit expensive, but it's really quite lovely. The scalloped edges really add a nice touch. It doesn't slip, the back is a soft waterproof non-skid material, and is machine washable, but also will be perfect to use your Bissell or whatever machine you might have. The pic is a bit blurry, but wanted to show you all the colors up close!
I like the green color and design of this rug. It’s easy to clean and fits in my standard size washer and dryer. The non-slip back keeps the rug in place well. The vacuum robots sometimes get caught on the edge of the rug but usually don’t have an issue. Overall great product.
You absolutely cannot disagree that this rig having a scalloped edge is so different and so pretty. That alone makes this rug stand out. But I have to say this. I don’t think the very geometric pattern that’s fairly contemporary goes with the scalloped edge look. That’s just my design background coming out but I have a little trouble with that. Besides that it’s good looking. It’s pretty soft albeit very low pile. I had no issues with the construction and quality of the rug. No shedding or smell either.
I got the brown 5' x 7'. Whilst the color makes it easy to blend this rug in with your decor, the light border stands out and draws attention. I felt the rug was a little darker than in the maker's photos, but not enough to change my mind about buying it. This is a smart rug at an affordable price, and fits easily into our washing machine.
I’m a huge fan of scalloped edges on just about anything – rugs, lampshades, baskets, etc. I’m definitely in a scalloped phase of my life lol. So when I came across this beautiful rug with scalloped edges, I couldn’t resist. I received the rug and it is perfect. I’ve looked through all the color options, and the ivory white is by far my favorite. My home has a lot of light colors, and this coordinates perfectly. I think it’s a versatile rug and would look great in almost any space. Since it’s a washable rug, it’s not thick or heavy like traditional rugs – something I expected and am fine with. In fact, after trying a few washable rugs, I’m starting to prefer them over the bulky ones I used to buy. Some of the bigger rugs I had were so heavy I could barely move them, and when it was time to toss them (dog potty training will do that!), I needed help just getting them out of my condo and into the dumpster. These thinner rugs are much easier to manage. Despite being lightweight, this one has a backing that keeps it from sliding around or curling up at the edges. I ran my robot vacuum over it with no issues at all – it didn’t budge. So if you're worried about that, I think you're fine. I have a very expensive Dreame robot vacuum with a lot of suction and it stayed in place. It did arrive with some creases from being folded, so I wanted to wash the rug to remove the creases. I folded the rug into sort of a hexagon shape – just fold the corners in and keep repeating until you’ve got an oddly shaped ball. I put it in my washing machine on the regular cycle, and it washed just fine. Afterward, I laid it flat to dry, and by the next morning, it was completely dry with no creases. One tip: while it’s still slightly damp, walk across it barefoot or get down and use your hands to smooth the rug in the direction you want the fibers to lay. One direction looks rough, the other smooth – you’ll know what I mean. Doing that helps it dry in place looking even and neat. It feels very plush, almost like a soft velvet or velour. The rug is very beautiful. I love the scalloped edges and the overall color and design. It’s a simple yet standout piece that takes the decor in my room up a notch from a basic square or rectangular rug. Scalloped edges really make everything look 10x better (it's science lol!). I highly recommend this gorgeous washable rug. 5 stars!
