It may not be the prettiest rug, but for an outside entrance, it is perfect. The browns hide dirt and debris. Great for wiping your feet before coming inside. When dirty, throw in the washing machine and you have a clean rug to put back on the porch. I would suggest a large commercial machine since the rug is very heavy and I don't really think it would fit in your washer. You can hang it up and beat it with a broom the old fashioned way, spray with water or better yet, use a pressure washer. The edges are finished strong so they should not unravel. It is a larger size,reasonably easy to fold and quite comfortable for an outside rug. Now! The color... well it does hide dirt and debris such as fall leaves and spring pollen quite well.
This is a really great rug. I love that it can be used outdoors. It has a good, tight weave to the fabric and well made corners. It's a low pile so you can use it near a door without issues. It is machine washable but for the larger rugs I would suggest spray washing outside and line drying. It has a grip backing that helps keep it stable on hard floors. It looks very nice and cleans up really easy too.
This is a fantastic rug. It's not super soft, it's definitely an indoor-outdoor texture. That's what makes it perfect for a porch! It would also make a great entryway rug. It's fairly flat but not super thin. The color is exactly what it looks like on the photos, and honestly it was a bit larger than I thought it would be. This was a total perk to me though, and it works great!
This is a thin rug it’s meant for outside patio. There’s no softness to it, but it won’t get saturated if it gets wet and little dry quick, it has a rubber backing.
