I got this lamp to add a more cozy vibe to my house. To my surprise, it was a handy lamp with shelves. The lamp itself was easy to put together. It even came with tools to complete the construction of the display cabinet. The remaining shelves helped me declutter my living room. I liked the handiness of the shelf lamp combo. The stainless steel is a great feature, making it easy to withstand force if you have kids around; I could use it to put my remotes or even my devices charging on it. Each shelf held more weight than I expected it to. I did a stacking test on it, and it was successful. The light wasn't too bright and gave off a yellow tone, giving the room a relaxing and appealing vibe. I recommend this to families using a great light source and storage.

This multi-tier shelf with a light was easy to assemble. (Even easier if you don't ask your family which way they think you should install the light!) The shelves aren't super thick nor are the side supports, so I would limit what you put on the shelves. They should still easily hold about 25 lbs. each on the shelves. The placement of the light is a little tricky. I have never thought so much before about where and how to place a light on a bookshelf. If you have the light on top, pointing up, then you have a clear collection unit for dust, pet hair, and flies. The same is true if you have it on the second shelf pointing up, plus you have something even harder to clean and change the bulb. Also, being that this is more like a piece of furniture and not a lamp, it would have been nice to have the shade be a colored glass or something else not to have the bare bulb always visible. Overall, these shelves with light are okay. This lamp is both decorative and functional. We are very pleased with the aesthetics of it and it helps display some of our more valuable items.

Beautiful lamp. String metal frame is solid and sturdy especially when assembled. The wooden shelves are thin but feel solid enough to hold decor items; books, vases, etc. my favorite part is the lantern atop. Rather than the traditional lamp and shade, it has a glass “shade”. The glass is pretty thin so keep that in mind. Place it and leave it. Provides a nice ambient lighting vibe.
