Its great. Solid construction. We use it mainly to give our cat a hideaway and for his food. We have a puppy that tries to get into everything, but she can't get into this.
It is actually pretty sturdy, good material. My husband didn't have much trouble putting it together, I think he only cussed a few times. LolThe door on top would not shut very good. It is supposed to be a magnet. My dog would've opened it with no problems, so my husband rigged something up to make sure it stayed closed.I also had to buy a new litter box bc even tho I measured mine and it matched what it says in the advertisement, I couldn't get the doors to close on the bottom.Not terrible issues.
This is a great product! It offers privacy for both eating and using the litter box which is very helpful when you have other animals, especially a puppy. For senior cats getting into the 2nd tier is challenging and if your cat is full figured the shelf inside takes up a lot of room. I took off the grate and added steps, as well as taking, down the inside shelf.
All in all it was easy to assemble, my cat loves it, and it helps a lot with the litter box scent. The only downsides are the opening for him to walk through to get into the cart box is big enough for medium size dogs (roughly 2 feet tall each) to put their heads through and reach the cat box and, the inside size measurement seems off. I could not fit his covered cat box so I had to buy and put in a non covered cat box.
