Great catio but QC needs to improve

Once assembled this catio is great! Putting it together is a bit of a chore but the directions are clear and easy enough to understand. Customer service was also great and easy to deal with.My big issue is with quality control. First, shipping could be improved. We ended up having damaged parts in each of the boxes, particularly with the wooden parts. It comes in 2 heavy boxes and the wood isn't the strongest so it cracks easily in transit. We ended up receiving 2 units and each time there was damaged wood, but thankfully we were able to piece enough together to have 1 complete unit.Second with quality control the metal grates could slightly be improved. They work fine as-is and I'm not worried about an animal escaping. However assembly becomes a bit tedious when the edge is individual spikes and you have to fight to make sure every single one fits in the slot. If every piece somehow had an outline ring of metal it would greatly improve the assembly experience. Also some of the grates came bent or were disfigured in the assembly process.With all that being said this is still a worthwhile enclosure and great value for the money. It's clear it was designed to save money while still delivering a good product. Our cats enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment, it looks nice once assembled, and the size and quality are better than most comparable units.

Don’t buy one. Find someone to build one.

Biggest waste of money ever. I had a catio before and my cats used it all the time. They don’t seem to like this one. I think they don’t feel secure in it. I don’t blame them as it is very wobbly.
