Reviews
Purchased this to try and overwinter sone plants instead of brining inside every fall - and to start seeds in early spring. It was fairly easy to put together, some parts took 2 of us , others I was able to do myself. I have a contractor that is building me a platform in my yard for spring to install the greenhouse there more permanently- from now until then I have it on a corner of my deck. I used the brackets included , attached a flat washer and have it screwed into the deck. It’s a good size, filled it up with a lot of plants - rigged up some shelves to add more. I put artificial turf in it on bottom & decided to put my lawn chair in there as well to sit inside & escape!Overall I am very happy with my purchase , I’m hoping it holds up all winter and I can start my seeds outside next spring.
Needed a green house for the winter I have a bunch of fruit plants and some flower I want to save too! Definitely need another person to help you assembly the green house the directions book needs better quality of of pictures of detail and words would of help too for connect part there was no explaining of what to do it was more so look at the picture find the number part and screws and figure it out. It took me a day and half to set it up. Everything came with it no missing parts I had extra screws. It was shipped in two box one for the framing and one for the panels. Size of green house is small but for me it will do eventually I will have to buy a bigger greenhouse once they grow bigger. Over all it’s a pretty good green house for starters or just need to cover up plants for the winter months. It sturdy once you have all put together multiple ways of anchoring down the greenhouse from high winds and storms but if it not anchored down then it will fly up in the air and crushed. Also I tools I use was hex drive & star point and a flathead screwdriver or drill need a rubber mallet/hammer and a needle nose pliers too! Not going to lie I did have some frustrated moments especially putting parts together.
Everything was packed properly.Once I got the hang of things, the build went well and took me about 5 hours. I would recommend putting all the parts in numerical order as well as the screws. Follow the direction exactly and you shouldn’t have a problem. Also, don’t build on a windy day.It is sturdy enough and I would buy it again.
You need to pay close attention to the instructions. A sides and B sides. If you assemble any frame work incorrectly when starting out your C windows will not fit. Make sure you know what ends you are working on. D windows are for the entrance side and C windows are for the closed side. You will need a step stool if you’re working by yourself. “Two people are recommended “ You will need a rubber mallet as I have to use it when installing the roof beam that goes from one end to the other end. This was by far the most difficult part of the build. If I ever build another one I’m gonna have the center beam installed separately on each side. Then it will be easier to join the center beam and bolt together. All in all it’s a great green house.
Had to tweek it a little for mister systems, but other then that perfect size for my yard and what I need it for. I look forward to seeing my little garden flourish.
Greenhouse was assembled in 6-7 hours with help. (Not including site prep and foundation) 2 people min but 3 would be better. Everything went together as it should BUT… you must have a flat and level base and all sides must be plum. If you do the prep-work for a good founsation, it goes together relatively easy. The plastic corners are a nice feature that helped out for easy assembly and a strong joint. They were the primary feature along with gutters on my decision to buy this greenhouse. All parts fit snug and a mallet is needed to seat the corner blocks properly. A bit of silicone caulk and cable tie-downs help strengthen and secure the unit. I would another one if I need it down the road.
It took my husband almost 5 hours to assemble by himself. He stated the directions were easy to follow. He placed the greenhouse on a cement slab and used anchor bolts to secure the framework to the concrete. He used concrete drill bit to accomplish this. Good value for the money. All the parts were included and intact. The quality of the plexiglass is good. Confidently he feels it will withstand up to 30 mph winds because it’s anchored.
The panels are different to put in place, some pieces were mislabeled making the instructions confusing. We managed and the metal is mailable so we made personal adjustments. Good for price but needs at least two people and patience
This building took me around 7 hours to put together. The directions were OK most of the time but missing some details in some areas. The building is sturdy once put together but im unsure it would withstand severe winds if left outside without some wind protection. I put it in my screened in porch so it works fine there. The door is not very wide so if you plan on putting large potted plants inside you may want to reconsider this one.
Very nice simple design. Everything was pre cut and drilled. Some parts came with small bends or dents but it’s thin aluminum so it bends back easily
