Reviews
I bought this greenhouse with doubts because of the limited & mixed reviews.….. so it did take a few weeks to get here (which is understandable). And It took us a full day to put together. The panels are tedious to install because everything had to match perfectly. That was the biggest struggle, but once we got the hang of it, it was easier. It is a 2 person job to put together! We screwed ours down to secure it better… depending on where you live you may loose it to a wind storm (does come with hooks to put in the ground ) . It looks exactly like the photos. & I can’t wait to fill it, I’m very happy overall.
We’re really happy with this greenhouse! Great size and exactly what we needed. Two adults (married almost 25 years!) put it together in one day—and we’re still talking—so that tells you it’s not overly complicated. The instructions are all pictures (no words), but honestly, they were pretty easy to follow. All parts were included, clearly labeled, and we even had extra bolts—which was perfect because my husband dropped a few along the way. No stress.A couple quick notes:The door doesn’t have a latch, so if your ground isn’t perfectly level, it will slide. Wind can also push it open, so plan to add something simple—we’re going with clamps. Also, the doorway is a bit narrow. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know.Overall: solid buy, went together without drama, and we’re excited to start growing 🌱
Overall it’s a 4. It took 4 people 3 hours to put together. Most of the pieces for but those that didn’t greatly increased the overall difficulty o lf assembly. The venting roof panel was one of the pieces that was hard to put together. It also doesn’t lay flat and needs a weight or something to keep it closed if you want to ever close it - see photos. In the end, it’s what I expected and a good value for the price. Please note that the polycarbonate material is like the double sided plastic posterboard pieces about 1/8 or 1/4” thick, with air pockets in-between - see pics. It still looks like a cute little greenhouse when done.On a scale of 1-5:1) Difficulty of assembly: 3 - instructions were fine and most of it was ok, but the parts that were bent or didn’t align made it frustrating at times.2) time to assemble 53) appearance 4For reference, the shelves I have inside are 18” deep and 36” wide. *My husband built the wood frame at the base with 2x4s so he won’t have to worry about hitting the polycarbonate with the weed eater when he’s doing yard work - that wasn’t part of the kit.I would buy it again for the price $269 +tax but prob not more than $300. (We spent another $50 for the frame materials at our local hardware store - not required, but very helpful - and attached it post-assembly)
I had purchased this about 3 weeks ago and I only received 1 out of 2 boxes. I contacted support and told them that & they made good on the promise of a replacement. Today it was delivered with Both boxes, & I was thrilled. With the weather being absolutely beautiful out, I decided to get started. I pulled everything out and organized it according to the sequence of numbers that were marked by stickers,, which, I found to be so helpful. I'm not usually intimidated by projects that I do completely on my own, but I was confident that I could & would be able to build it myself. I highly recommend organizing all the parts in sequence!! Although, it was at times a little difficult to manage on my own, I just kept following the directions, & seemed to follow the steps, but I didn't finish it all. I got the frame, back, front & the side rails up, before calling it done for the night. Tomorrow, I am confident that I will finish it, but I wasn't in a rush. I wanted to share that I'm going to modify it with 4x4's at the base to give it some weight for the Summer Storms that will be arriving this weekend. I bought this with my intensions of using it as an outdoor oasis. Last year I put up a tent, with screened in, but it didn't last a full Summer. I hope to make some great memories this year in my new Greenhouse!! Good music is a must while putting this together... Good luck!!
