I Purchased this recliner for my mom for Christmas. It came quickly and was easy to put together. It’s pretty comfy and easy to open and close. It also feels sturdy. I do feel like the back cushion could use more filling but that’s an easy fix. There is a zipper where you can easily add more filling.

Edit- I wrote the 👇 review while I was sitting in the chair for the first time. My bad.1. The pull handle *was* intuitive but it also broke within an hour of use. Leaving me unable to sit in the chair because I am pushing the weight capacity and, when I leaned back, it would not latch so I just laid straight down.2. Also when I stood up I would have fallen if my husband hadn’t been here to help me. The footrest needs a good strong kick to get it to close and I could not get the right angle or the necessary momentum to close it so it tripped me when I tried to stand.3. I have returned the chair which was a huge hassle just to get it to Whole Foods (and they were rightfully mad they had to deal with it). I’d better get my entire purchase price back.4. I found something on Marketplace that is a lot more solid and has an electric lift. I bought a Snailax memory foam massage mat to go on top of it and it’s crazy comfortable. 👍🏻>>>(Original review)For the price, it’s a great chair. But I have some notes:1. The selling point, for me, was the picture of the happy fat man in the picture. I have to say that guy is the shortest happy fat man ever. My legs hang way off the end of the foot rest and I’m only 5’8”.2. There’s nowhere to put my head. Not due to height but there’s just not enough cushion in that part of the chair. The part where your rear goes seems to be plenty cushioned though.3. The width is amazing. I had a plus size recliner that I bought secondhand and it isn’t nearly as wide in the seat.4. The massage is superior to my old chair but that’s not saying much. As another reviewer said, don’t expect a spa massage. But it’s great at the end of a long day or just for general chronic pain.5. The heat is actually impressive. I wasn’t expecting much but it’s toasty without being too hot.6. The pull handle, which I dreaded, and which is poorly placed, is actually fairly intuitive to use.7. The color is gray. Gray was the cheapest and had the fastest shipping. I wasn’t going to upgrade to cognac for extra money, gray is fine.8. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase, for the price. It’s plenty sturdy and comfortable and I’m happy I bought it.

Omg you need to be a genius to follow the directions, it took 2 of us 4 hours to set it up, looks like leather but it's very comfortable

I found this Oversized Recliner Chair Item to be Easy to Assemble. It's very Comfortable and Relaxing. Definitely plan to Purchase a Second OverSized Recliner Chair in the next 5 to 6 months. : )

The pull out arms are hard to pull out, I still have one that won't click in place. Still haven't figured out all the hidden zipper

Very nice looking chair and comfortable with added padding in the arms and headrest. For the headrest I removed the provided cushion from the zipped headrest and instead inserted a $15 king size shredded memory foam pillow, and this made it the chair very comfortable.
