GARVEE Washable Rug: A Soft and Practical Choice

I received this rug for review and it is so soft; in fact, it’s even softer than the actual carpet in my father's room. I gave it to him to place next to his bed to refresh the look of his space; additionally, the brown tones with the darker brown border are a perfect match for his house. It is quite thin, which makes it a good alternative to an expensive woven rug for a bedroom. However, because it is so thin, it is actually hard to vacuum because the vacuum picks it up really easily; furthermore, it tends to move around when placed on top of existing carpet, so you will need a grip or something to keep it in place. While it is a bit large for a home washer, it is easily washable at a laundry facility. He is happy with the look, and I am happy he likes it.I will post picture later

Thin, lightweight but decent quality

I like the grey and black color of the rug. It can easily be used in most locations including living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and laundry rooms. Because of the colors it will work in either boys or girls rooms.It is very thin and lightweight yet is made to be quite durable. It's soft and comfortable to walk on. I didn't notice any strong smells when I opened it which was a nice surprise that I didn't need to air it out in this rainy weather.The pattern is printed on the top of the fibers and is mostly okay although there are a few places, mostly very small, where the printing didn't cover completely. It's not extremely noticable and I personally think it gives it character. Sometimes things like that bother me and other times I actually like the little flaws so thought I should mention it.The binding around the edge is thinner than most rugs but in this instance it's not a bad thing. It is thick enough to help keep the rug laying flat yet thin enough to allow the robot vacuums to go right over it with no issues. It's really easy to clean as far a vacuuming goes. It says it's machine washable however it's a little large and heavy in my opinion for a washing machine and I will only consider a carpet and upholstery shampoo machine on it.My full size vacuum does lift it up so I'll mostly use the robots on it but it is manageable with the full vacuum for times when it needs a deeper cleaning.It isn't a high end rug by no means but I do think it's a fair value for the price.

Beautiful design, very soft and durable.

My son laughed when I told him I'm getting a brand new kitchen rug, but he has seen been converted. This rug fits perfectly and it's washable construction means I don't have to worry about spills on it. The rubber backing prevents it from sliding out from underneath our feet (and paws). Very soft texture too.
