Nice Looking Pump but lacking a good owner's manual

I have just received the shallow well pump. It came with a small pamphlet which is a far cry from a user's manual. The manufacturer is listed as GARVEE but that is just a brand name. The pamphlet lacks the manufacturer's name, a phone number to call, and warranty information, as well as other important info like what it is made of, the pressure setting, etc. I have some request out and will report back when I hear anything. My use for this pump is for household water supply. I will get it installed in the next day or so.

Watering pump

Is a good pump...well built..not much suction head...so you need to have close to positive head on the suction side to prime...or one way valve after primed..I have 2 feet of head on the suction so it stays primed and works well...

Awful instructions but a good pump.

Most people who get a well pump like this are going to use it with sand point wells, so the recommendation to use a foot valve won't apply. Instead, use a check valve. The first pic shows my setup which uses the pitcher pump connected to two sand point wells that are tee'd together underground as both a backup pump as well as a means to quickly prime the electric pump. Each sand point was driven 14' down (4' for the sand point and a full 10' stick of 1-1/4" pipe) but the water bearing sand layer here in N. Florida started at around 3' for around 5' of total lift (incl. the 2' of pipe above ground). The second pic shows a flow rate of about 4.5 gpm at a usable pressure of about 15 psi (the pump is running continuously) while the third pic shows the jet from the usual garden nozzle at just before the pump cycles back on. I mounted the pump onto a pre-cast 16" x 16" x 4" concrete block that was $7 at the blue big box store (probably at the orange one, too). One minor issue: the usual recommendation with air bladder tanks is to pressurize them to just under the minimum pressure the pump kicks on at (19 psi here) but mine was pumped up to 30 psi and the result was extremely short cycling and an abrupt drop in water pressure just before the pump kicked on again. Once I bled the air bladder down to 20 psi the water flow rate was more consistent over the pump's pressure range (which is still pretty wide at 2:1) and it didn't cycle nearly as often. The Shrader valve for the air bladder is concealed under a screw-on black plastic cover at the back end of the tank (seen laying on the concrete pad).

It's been working dependable for a month now

Western North Carolina was devastated through that hurricane Helene. Some of the shops in Asheville North Carolina had power in no city water. We filled a container with water pumped it out into the existing plumbing through a water filter with a UV light and provided quality water for a coffee shop.

THE BEST PRODUCT FOR DRAINING MY TURLE TANKS !!!

I have been using shop vac to drain my two tanks EVERY WEEK.I found this product and it literally saves me 1-2 hours of labor.Repeatedly for 5 years, once a week I must clean these tanks. Takes 3 1/2 hours average time start to finish. Draining two tanks, cleaning, water, lights, refilling filtered water. This little guy, saves me time. It's so inexpensive too.I AM ONE VERY HAPPY GUY OVER THIS PUMP. WILL BUY A FEW, DUE TO THE PRICE.The best product for fish a me d turtle tanks.A million other uses, I'm sure. Easy to clean.

Just what I needed.

I needed a pump strong enough to mix my salt and send water to my tank about 75 feet away from the garage and this does it perfectly. Super happy with it.

The pump body made of stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and durable

A power of 3/4 HP is more than enough to pump water from my shallow well and provide sufficient irrigation pressure. Now, even if multiple nozzles are turned on simultaneously, each nozzle can achieve the ideal range and coverage area, greatly improving the watering efficiency. The stainless steel structure of the pump body allows me to install it outdoors with confidence, without having to worry too much about wind and rain erosion. The attached pressure tank effectively reduces the start-stop frequency of the water pump, not only saving energy but also extending the service life of the equipment.

Works well. Time will tell.

So far, so good. Quieter than I expected. I watched a video review on the pump and it sounded terrible. The video was outside. I took a chance anyway. I'm happy with it.I am using it in a barn/ workshop, just to wash up. It's pretty quiet. Decent pressure. I run it through a small, Bosch water heater and it does great.

Good pump

Easy to install. Connected to well foot and output pipe. Primed it, plugged it in and it starting working right away. It is used for garden watering.
