The black velvet upholstery has a soft feel and the vertical tufted headboard adds a really elegant touch without being overly flashy. It instantly made the room feel more polished and cozy.Assembly was fairly simple overall, and the instructions were easy to follow. Everything lined up properly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and solid the frame feels once put together.
