The build quality on this tool impressed me right out of the box. The thick steel and clean, solid welds are really well done. For tire rotations and flat repairs, rolling tires on this dolly is much faster than dragging or carrying them, and it saves a noticeable amount of time over the course of a day. It’s also much easier on my back and helps conserve my energy.
Watched lots of videos before purchasing. Wife wanted very heavy Daytona car dolly and I wanted this one. We had to change a tire on horse trailer during recent trip. Hard for 77 and 80 year old to handle very heavy tire/rim.My wife tried both and agreed we me that this dolly was easier to mount tire. Returned Dayton car dolly.This process of her making selection is why we're still married after 58 years.Remounting tire under gooseneck was even more difficult but couldn't find commercialy. Added a long grade 8 bolt to existing tire plate and added swivel ring and hoist underneath gooseneck. 77 year old woman can remove and remount with one hand.
We picked up a couple of these for the shop and the guys fight over who gets to use them. It really cuts down on the strain of handling heavy truck tires all day.
