Very solid piece of equipment for the price you can’t go wrong

So far, So Good. Easy to assemble. Seems to work great.

This transmission jack seems to do everything that I thought that a $160 transmission jack should do. It comes with enough oil already filled in it. If you are even somewhat mechanically inclined it isn't hard to assemble. I chose this one because it was of the higher weight rating and the cheapest price after looking at all of the options and seeing that they are possibly all the exact same item from the same factory...I installed the legs upside down so that I can get just a little bit of extra height and avoid the problem where the wheels might interfere with the legs when installed as in the pictures. The pedal installation wasn't hard, just push the plunger down a little. I'm going to weld some bent over washers onto the bottom of the lift plate to attach some ratchet straps to improve the function for my own personal preference. I will also likely discard the chains and all of that and use a piece of rubber on that plate, but again that is a matter of my personal preference. I simply like a bargain and i don't mind taking a new tool and modifying it a little to make it my own... If you are like minded this way you will love this jack.
