Sturdy, it’s metal but doesn’t make the squeak noises most metal bed frames do. It was easy to put together, comes with all the hardware , and is a good hight for people with normal sized ceilings. Love this bed fits perfectly in a small space.
We JUST put it together. So far we’re pleased with it, posting because I wish there had been more real pictures. For reference, we have standard 8’ ceilings. My child is 45” and can stand on the top and touch the ceiling. My husband is 6’ 1” and can sit comfortably underneath it, and my 45” child can comfortably walk underneath it with plenty of head room. We were able to put 2 stacked nugget couches underneath it. Also see Barbie dreamhouse for size comparison. The mattress is 5” thick.It is a much darker grey than the pictures implied. It does wobble, but I feel like it’s a very normal amount for a loft bed. We visited friends and cousins’ loft beds while researching and this feels more stable than some that we visited. The 4 posts are thick cylinders instead of thinner rectangles, so that was a nice suprise.As far as instructions, I’d give it a B+. Be very aware of which side you want to face the wall, because we had to take the short ends off and flip them so the support hole was on the correct side. Even with the hiccup, it took us about an hour and a half with two adults. The instructions are mostly pictures, but it’s not too bad.
Great loft bed! Daughter loves it. Perfect for rooms that do not have high ceilings. Just be mindful of mattress thickness,We bought 3 of these lofts, my daughter’s mattress was perfect but my boys mattresses reached the top of the bars. Measure your mattress before ordering.
My grandson loves his new bed, don't like getting out of it.
