Utility Sink

This stainless steel utility sink is well-built and surprisingly easy to assemble with no tools needed and it was up in about 15 minutes. The material feels durable and resists rust well, even in damp areas. The hot and cold water pipes work smoothly, and the 360-degree faucet is a convenient touch. The large single bowl is great for everything from cleaning tools to washing up after yard work, and the under-shelf adds useful storage. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

Bought for my outdoor summer kitchen

I've seen the fancy outdoor kitchens some people can afford to put in their backyard/porch area, but for me, I have a limited budget and yet, in summer, I'd rather cook outside than heat up the interior of my small house. This sink/table combination was one of two stainless steel items for my outdoor kitchen. I also purchased a longer stainless steel table without a since, but with a bottom shelf just like this sink. I have a camping style hot water heater that was made for showers and washing dishes and that is this sink's hot water (with a 5-gallon tub of cold water). I also have another camping find - a usb powered "faucet" that I press the button on top and cold water comes out - it has a tube that also runs to the 5-gallon bucket of water. Under the sink's drain is another 5-gallon bucket for catching rinse water from the sink. I mention all this because at the moment I am not using the nice faucet that was included in the box. I do have a water pump that I might spend time hooking up, but that would only work for cold water...so I'll have to think how I want to bring both hot and cold to my low-cost outdoor kitchen. As it is, this sink is functional and with the other table, I have more room than I need to prepare meals or even process fruits/vegetables out of my garden. I do use a couple of camp stoves, an oven that uses duel fuel (isobutane or propane) and a table-top kettle style charcoal grill. What more could I want? I chose stainless steel because it is so easy to clean and is very hygienic to work on with food products. I'm very pleased with this stainless steel sink/table. Oh, and the drawer is excellent to hold all my outdoor utensils when cooking on the porch. Well worth purchasing.
