I found this washable rug to be rather thin, and it tends to slip on the floor from where it is placed. It is extremely soft underfoot, however, even with the thin pile. The thinness does make it easier to put in the washing machine and wash than other washable rugs I've had, and it air dries well. The quality is not has high as others I've had though, as even after washing it retains a prominent crease down the middle from shipping. I can only hope that the crease will eventually work it's way out. I'd say it would be a good value for the original $30 it was listed as, due to the size and the look of the rug. Especially if you are a college student or on a similar budget and just need something washable to cover the floors for a while, and aren't as concerned with longevity.

The rug fits perfectly in my short narrow hallway. The material lies flat. The edges have not curled up. The rug is in a high traffic area. I have included a picture of how it looks after daily use. It really hides tracked in dirt and dust. The rug fits nicely in the washer for cleaning. It feels soft to the touch and is about a centimeter thick. It is not a flimsy rug. The color olive with beige undertones matches my olive green wall paint.

I bought a house in 1997 that was built in 1946 and was a tiny two-bedroom house, and which before I bought, had a large bedroom suite put where nothing previously stood; this turned what was probably a dining and living room into a strange box-shaped room that I had to figure out when I moved in, since there is a door at its back leading to the primary bedroom suite. What we decided to do was turn it into a living room in the literal sense that when we’re not asleep or in our office spaces (previously two bedrooms), this is where we spend most of our time. We dine at a café table in our kitchen and a have a large “main room” which is where we keep a fancy dining table which, not being fancy types, we never actually dine in. So the room that we variously read in, watch a lot of TV in and hang out in to chat and nap in became the fulcrum of the house and needed focus. We’ve had a series of good-sized and nice-looking carpet in the space but we recently got this huge (80 square foot) carpet which has solved a lot of problems, dividing the room into two distinct spaces, breaking up the box like nature of the space and most importantly, adding a nice distinction to the space. We’ve got a lot of washable carpets in the house which are a recent and very satisfying innovation. This is very cozy piece which vacuums easily and while theoretically, machine washable, is far too large for our machine; this size will require taking to a professional service with large washing machines. But it vacuums easily has a plush you-can-walk-barefoot-on-it feel, and should last a long time. At this price point, it wouldn’t break the bank to replace it, but this ought to be good for many, many years and has really given a nice feel to our primary living space, whatever it’s called now.

I picked up this 5x7 GARVEE area rug mainly for its vintage vibe and machine-washable promise. Out of the package, it looks okay, it does come folded so you will have some fold lines for a while. The medallion pattern has a soft, distressed look that gives off a cozy, worn in feel without looking old or dingy. It's lightweight and easy to move around, which made setup a breeze.What I like:+ It is soft, almost fleece like, and the neutral tones make it easy to pair with a lot of different decor styles.+ The non-slip backing actually does a decent job, which is a big plus since I have pets constantly zooming through the living room.+ You can toss the whole thing in the washer (assuming it's large enough), which is super convenient when life (or coffee) happens.+ It's thin, so it fits easily under furniture and doors without bunching up.But keep in mind:- It's very thin. It looks decent, but don't expect plush padding underfoot, definitely grab a rug pad if you want more comfort or insulation.- Vacuuming can be annoying unless you use the lowest suction setting. Otherwise, it gets sucked up or shifts around.- It's not going to fool anyone into thinking it's a high-end rug, but that's not really what it's trying to be either.Who it's for:If you've got kids, pets, or just want something basic that still looks good, this is a solid pick. It's especially great for busy rooms where you want style without worrying about stains or wear.Final thoughts:This rug is not fancy, but a decent value, functional and easy to live with. Add a rug pad underneath and it'll serve you well.

This 2x6-foot rug is perfect for my hallway and in front of my doors to the patio. Would also work out by the bed and in the bathroom! It is 100% polyester with a fairly neutral distressed design that is not distracting. Nonslip backing.It arrives folded though with time the creases will lessen and finally disappear. Nice that it is washable and to be dried without heat (or put on a line). Good value, soft to the touch, fairly thin so a door may swing over it. Nice to have!

Really nice runner for the hallway. I love the muted neutral colors and the high-quality feel and look of it. It sticks quite nicely to my carpet and doesn’t move around too much. Matches a neutral color scheme and protects your hallway floor. It feels very soft and the weight is light, and I can tell that it will wash nicely in the washing machine, which is great. It seems to be quite durable and has slip resistance. I love that it’s machine washable because it means it will be easy to clean.

This area rug looks good and is soft to the touch. The rug is made of 100% polyester and comes with a non-slip backing, and is thin enough to put in a washing machine. The rug is very thin for an interior area rug and came folded in a box instead the normal rolled up rug. It looks nice but and the non-slip helps keep it in place but the thin material is probably not going to be something most people will want as an area rug inside their home. It would be a good deal if the price for this 5X7 size rug was much lower for such a thin material rug, so this is why I'm dropping it to 4 stars and not lower since some may like a rug thin enough to put into a washing machine.
