I absolutely love this rug, and it is more beautiful in person than I expected. This rug is massive, but also thin enough that if you had a commercial sized washer, you could throw it in there no problem. The pile of this rug is very short and soft. It would be easy to sweep or vacuum. The backing is completely nonslip allowing it to grip my hardwood floors nicely. I love the design and colors of this rug because it can go well with a lot of different things. I think this is an amazing quality rug, and I am very happy to have it.

This 9x12 floral area rug looks incredible. The pink variety is absolutely stunning, and my wife went crazy over the design the second we got it out. It really changes the entire aesthetic of the room for the better. As a guy, pink is not really my color, but in this case I perfectly happy to immerse myself in our colorful new loving room nonetheless.As with all GARVEE rugs of this type, it is quite thin and malleable. It has to be if you want any hope of getting a massive 9x12 rug into a washing machine if you need to (which is probably more likely with lighter colors like this). It arrives folded up in a box, but it spreads out easily enough and the initial fold lines disappear after it settles for a while. The top fabric has a wonderful, silky texture that feels great to walk on in bare feet, and the low-profile edges mean you won't trip on it, nor does our robot vacuum struggle to get on top of it.​It maye not be a thick rug, but it still has a decent amount of weight to it thanks to the rubberized, non-slip backing. It grips the floor well, and we haven't seen any curling at the corners.​The main drawback to keep in mind, especially with a large 9x12 variant like this, is that the rug will inevitably bunch up and crease if it sees a lot of heavy traffic or dog movement. With a rug this big, you don't want to be constantly down on your knees flattening it out, so you will probably want to weight it down with furniture. In our experience this has been a dramatic help.​If you are happy to accept that trade-off for the sake of easy home washability, this is a fantastic, beautiful rug. If you like the pink design, we highly recommend it.(We had cause to wash a 5x7 GARVEE washable area rug recently and it was really no trouble at all: into the machine on a delicate cycle, line dry, and then back into service. It looks just as good as it did when we first unpacked it. No faded color, and not deformation of any kind).

This floral area rug adds a lovely aesthetic to our living room. We like the stylized design quite a bit.It not a thick rug. It's thin and malleable, by design. In fact it comes folded in a box, but it was very easy to spread out and after letting it settle for a few days or so there was no discernible residual creasing. This is a big part of what makes it machine washable, which is a fantastic feature should you ever need to take advantage of it.(We had cause to wash another 5x7 washable GARVEE area rug recently and it was a simple matter of putting it through a gentle/delicate cycle and then hanging it out to dry, after which it looked just as it did when it first arrived, minus the creases eventually went away.)The underside of the rug is a nice rubberized texture. This helps it stay put when walking on it, but it also gives it a decent amount of weight relative to its thickness. We have other rugs of this type from GARVEE and none of the corners have thus far shown the slightest tendency to curl up, and the edges are low-profile enough that it is very difficult to accidentally kick/trip on them.These rugs do have a disadvantage however: if you have them in a high traffic area, they tend to bunch up a bit. You'll need to prepared to flatten them out again occasionally. This is a minor issue with anything 5x7 or below, and is mitigated on larger variants if they are weighted down by furniture. You'll need to make peace with this. It's the price you pay for being able to throw them in your washing machine. As dog owners this trade-off suits us perfectly.All in all we love these rugs. They are affordable, they look nice, they have a wonderful velvety texture that is lovely to walk on, and washability is a killer feature. With tradtional rugs you can end up hundreds of dollars out of pocket for a proper cleaning, a truck to fit it in for transport, and probably two people to roll it up and drag it out of the house. We know from experience.
