I love GARVEE rugs I have multiple at this point. I love how they are thin but comfy to walk on, the fabric is soft, it's solid enough to be a legit rug. I also love that liquids kind of pool on top and don't soak in so it's great for people with kids or pets. It is a print rug so it's not super fancy but I honestly love the pattern and color. It does have this slight purposeful distressed look so keep that in mind.I recommend.

The design here is quite striking. We ordered the black one but the floral design is so dense that it reads as dark green too which we really like, and the bordered design lets it be modern and traditional at the same time.​Functionally speaking, it is equally interesting, prioritizing the convenience of machine washability over "plushness". But the rug still has a nice amount of weight to it thanks to the rubberized non-slip backing, and it has a velvety texture that feels amazing to walk on in bare feet.Out of the box there were some fold lines, as these rugs come folded in a bag inside a box, though they relax after a couple of days on the floor.Edge clearance is minimal. Our robotic vacuum navigates over it seamlessly with just the slightest of bumps.The thing to note about these rugs though is that they bunch up much more easily than traditional rugs. This is the price you pay for machine-washability of course. It's worth the trade-off for us given that we have dogs running around, and it's a minimal problem for 5x7 sizes and below. Larger rugs benefit greatly from being weighted down with furniture if they are in high-traffic areas (we have a 9x12 from GARVEE too, in another design, which we also love).​We had cause to actually put a GARVEE 5x7 area rug through the wash recently due to an escalating string of territorial pet "incidents". Cycle set to "Delicates", followed by hang-drying, as prescribed, and then a bit of fluffing, and it literally came out looking as good as it did when it went in (minus some staining that came out well). Not the slightest hint of corner curling or any other deformation. I am not sure if this is strictly by design, but the carpet underneath the rug in which the aforementioned incidents occurred remamined entirely dry, which we were grateful for.If you like the designs here, and are happy with the trade-offs, these are a great buy we think. Affordable, aesthetically lovely, fantastic to walk on, and none of the big cleaning bills or transport concerns that can potentially plague more traditional rugs.

I absolutely love this rug! We put it in my kids bedroom, and it has been a great addition to the space. It arrived clean, neatly packaged, and included care instructions. After unrolling it, it laid out easily with very few wrinkles and was ready to use in no time after a vacuum overThe material is incredibly soft and feels great under your feet. Even though it's a low-pile rug, it's comfortable to walk and play on. It also vacuums very easily, which is a huge plus with young kids. I appreciate that it's machine washable as well. I personally hang mine to dry because my dryer isn't large enough to accommodate an 8x10 rug, and it has held up well after cleaning.One thing to keep in mind is that this rug is fairly thin. That wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but I do have two children under the age of three, and my youngest is currently learning to walk. Since he takes plenty of tumbles, I decided to add a rug pad underneath for a little extra cushioning during playtime and walking practice. If you're looking for a plush, heavily padded rug, you'll probably want to pair it with a rug pad. However, if you're mainly looking for a soft, attractive, low-pile rug, this one is an excellent choice.The non-slip backing works well on our floors, and the floral pattern looks beautiful in the room without being overwhelming. Overall, I'm very happy with this rug and would absolutely recommend it. It's soft, easy to care for, kid-friendly, and looks much more expensive than it is.
