This is William Morris's famous Strawberry Thief pattern in a neutral color way. I adore it! Smoky blues and greens with accents of maybe and a rusty peach. Dreamy for a bedroom of warm whites.The busy pattern hides dirt that inevitably happens on white rugs, even with daily vacuuming. It's silky soft in surface texture on bare feet, although very thin. I put carpet underlayment as a rug pad, but you can feel the seams where the pieces meet underneath. It bunches a little on the edge where it was crushed in tight folds in the box, months later. It's under the nightstand so I haven't bothered trying to iron it out or anything. The slight fold creases elsewhere are so slight that they don't bother me either.
I ordered this rug in Blue in the 9x12. For the price, I am very impressed. The colors are beautiful and it’s soft underfoot. The nonslip works. The edges don’t roll up and are bound nicely. The rug has light spots in the material if you run your hand over it one way, sort of like how carpet looks after you vacuum. I included this in the close up picture in this review. I don’t know how it will hold up over time, but this is an excellent budget option and I’m happy with this purchase.
