I’m very pleased with this purchase. The rug arrived via UPS on the earliest day of the estimated delivery window, and it was packaged well. I also noticed that the price was comparable to what I found on other websites, so I felt comfortable purchasing it through Garvee.The design is exactly what I hoped for. The scalloped edges were one of the features that attracted me, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely they laid down right out of the package. They don’t curl up the way I expected, which gives the rug a finished, high-quality appearance.The rug is quite thin, so if you’re expecting plush cushioning underfoot, this probably isn’t the right choice. It adds beauty, softness of color, and visual warmth to the room rather than physical comfort. I plan to add a wool rug pad underneath, both to make it feel more substantial and to provide additional cushioning.One thing to be aware of is that the surface can feel slippery when wearing socks. A quality rug pad should help with stability, and I think it will improve the overall feel as well.Like many folded rugs, mine has a few wrinkles that will likely take some time to relax and lay completely flat. That wasn’t unexpected, and I’m confident they’ll settle with time.One final detail that I really appreciated: there was no noticeable chemical odor when I unpacked it, and even after it’s been in the room, I still don’t detect any smell.Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
