This rooftop carrier bag is a great replacement for my previous one that came with a roof basket. It fits just fine within the basket on my minivan and seems to be pretty good quality to hold much of my camping gear without ripping at the seams. It is just a bag so it's easy to store away when not in use. I love that this can be used with or without the basket so I can also put it on my other vehicles that just have a rack but no basket.

I wanted this for my horse trailer. There's a lot of stuff that gets toted along when going out camping with the horses. There isn't always enough room for everything in the front of the trailer and the back of the truck isn't suitable for some of that stuff. The bag is heavier than I thought it would be which leads me to believe it's going to be pretty durable and last us awhile. The included mat allows me to add it to the top of the trailer and keeps the bag from slipping off. The tie downs are great as I can use the horse tie rings along the top to attach to. Once this bag is in place and secured there's no way it's coming off. The material is clearly of a heavy weight waterproof fabric and the flaps over the zipper will help ensure there no leaking of rain getting to the stuff inside. I like that all the stitching is heavy duty and tightly done. All straps and seams are extremely well sewn for extended life. All in all this will probably be one of the best value added add-ons I gotten for our trailer. Price is fair and well within this price point.
