Mounted to studs. Holds well. Posts will get scratched as there is no plastic sleeve over the metal where you slide the plates on.
These have been awesome for holding my bumper plates and keeping the gym tidy. They take little space snd are easy to install.
These hold plates. Not dinner plates, silly! Weight plates! Like for exercise n stuff. And they're pretty darn good at it. And I should know! I'm a bit of a plate-holdin fiend myself, and these things hold plates with the best of em. Sometimes I even lift em above my head, just to show off! But enough about me. These plate-holders are the roughest, toughest, buffest, can't-get-enoughest, got-the-right-stuffest plate-holders I've ever dealt with, and I don't say that about just anyone. In fact, I've never said that about anyone before. Promise. But enough about me. These things hold plates.
I found that one of the brackets was missing a rubber plate protector collar. Hoping this review can get another one sent to me as I was unable to find any option to contact the seller. Would be 5 stars otherwise. These are very strong.
